Two experiments at JILA and NIST will be discussed. The first one is an effort to measure the electric dipole moment of an electron (eEDM) using trapped molecular ions. The experimental? system will be discussed, and the new results will be summarized. The second experiment is on dual frequency comb spectroscopy. This technique will be explained and some applications for atmospheric measurements will be discussed.
