B.P. Konstantinov Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute has a vast science and technology base to undertake theoretical and applied research in the field of nuclear physics and condensed matter physics.At the present time, the institute has four basic facilities: WWR-M reactor, PIK reactor, Synchrocyclotron SC1000 and Cyclotron C80. -
50 лет В 1971 году филиал Физико-технического института им. А.Ф. Иоффе РАН в Гатчине получил статус самостоятельного научного учреждения - Ленинградского института ядерной физики им. Б.П. Константинова, ныне НИЦ "Курчатовский институт" - ПИЯФ.
